On-Foot Look at the Air Jordan 1 "Hand Crafted"
Boisterous colorblocking, bright 3M accents, bold contrast stitching and more.

Silhouette by silhouette, Jordan Brand‘s holiday 2021 collection is starting to leak out — and one of the latest pairs to make its unofficial debut is the Air Jordan 1 “Hand Crafted.” A unique style with boisterous colorblocking, bright 3M accents, bold contrast stitching and more, the “Hand Crafted” is set to serve as a key piece of the holiday Air Jordan retro slate. Now, we’ve got an on-foot look at it thanks to sneaker leaker YankeeKicks.
Also known as the “Archaeo Brown,” this Air Jordan 1’s signature details are provided by a trio of tones: its eponymous brown shade, a rich forest green and a sultry plum tone. The first, which is somewhat reminiscent of the brown used on the Air Jordan 1 “Dark Mocha,” graces collar flaps and toeboxes. The second is placed on the eyestays, and the third takes up residence on the heel. Each is also embellished with white contrast stitching.
Hi-vis reflective material is introduced into the mix as well, appearing in an interesting Y-shape cut that infringes on the white leather quarter before wrapping around the back and separating the heel from the black collar. There’s also a more subtle splotch of hi-vis trim running along the edges of the white toebox.
Branding is handled by black midfoot Swooshes, a black and brown textile ball-and-wings logo on the collar and a blaze orange Nike hit on the black nylon tongue’s fabric tag. The tongue is covered by both black and orange laces, while down below white midsoles work with black outsoles to round off the look.
The Air Jordan 1 “Hand Crafted” is set to release on December 19, though this has yet to be officially confirmed by Nike and its MSRP will likely be set at $170 USD. Looking to add to your rotation now? GOAT has pairs available right now.
