Footwear designer John Geiger‘s eponymous John Geiger Co. is back with its latest GF-01 colorway: a vibrant “Triple Volt.” A luxurious homage to the Air Force 1, Geiger’s GF-01 uses premium materials, special branding and intricate detailing to simultaneously communicate its inspiration and offer a look all its own.
As can be gleaned from its moniker, the “Triple Volt” is not lacking for color. From toe to heel, collar to outsole, it serves up an ultra-bright neon yellow shade. The upper is built from premium leather, and Geiger’s signature cursive G logo takes place on the quarter before wrapping around to the heel. Though the heel tab would normally be done up in chenille, here it maintains the leather build seen on the rest of the upper for a more uniform look. Midsoles feature an embossed GF-01 hit, while insoles and outsoles alike round off the look with a repeating JG traction pattern.
John Geiger’s GF-01 in “Triple Volt” will release via the John Geiger Co. webstore at noon EST on August 20. Its MSRP is set at $195 USD, in line with past models.
