Dr. Martens x Sage Nation Launch First-Ever Collaboration
A reimagined take on the classic Dr. Martens 1461 silhouette.
Dr. Martens and Sage Nation have unveiled their first-ever collaboration, sparking a dialogue through their distinct yet shared philosophies on contemporary craftsmanship. This partnership marks the second release in the Dr. Martens “Statements in Craft” series.
The Made in England collection reimagines the classic Dr. Martens 1461 shoe through Sage Nation’s distinct design language. Each pair reflects a mutual commitment to craft and quality, constructed from Classic Calf full-grain leather finished with natural oil and wax to develop a subtle, vintage pull-up effect over time. Sourced from the esteemed British tannery C.F. Stead, the leather upper is detailed with double welt stitching that splits through the front of the toe, echoing Sage Nation’s signature Box Pleat trousers.
The 3-eye silhouette is accented with tonal stitching, a single brushed silver eyelet, and matching flat waxed laces. It sits atop the classic smoke grey Dr. Martens DMS air-cushioned sole, finished with black Goodyear welt stitching. The collection is available in classic black and clove green.
The collection will launch on September 30 and will be available at the Dr. Martens TX Huaihai store in Shanghai, as well as on the official Dr. Martens WeChat Mini Program.
