PLATEAU STUDIO and SUBU Debut Their First Collaboration: the Lace-Up F-LINE

Taiwanese rising brand PLATEAU STUDIO has released its first collaborative shoe with SUBU, the Japanese winter-sandal brand celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The collaboration introduces the PLATEAU x SUBU LACE UP SLIPPER, which reimagines SUBU’s F-LINE through PLATEAU STUDIO’s distinctive sensibility. Its defining feature is a lace-up construction—the first of its kind for SUBU.

The deep brown upper is paired with asymmetrically colored laces, adding details reminiscent of sneakers and outdoor footwear. Color flecks made from recycled materials are scattered throughout the off-white outsole, while shades that echo the laces lend it a vintage-inspired finish.

SUBU embroidery appears at the side, while the PLATEAU STUDIO logo is placed on the footbed. Each pair also comes with a dedicated drawstring bag in the same material as the upper, finished with the PLATEAU STUDIO logo.

The PLATEAU STUDIO x SUBU LACE UP SLIPPER is now available through SUBU’s official online store and select retailers nationwide. It is priced at ¥26,400, including tax.
