F.C.Real Bristol and SUBU have reissued their football spike-inspired sandal in a new all-black version. The design first appeared in 2025 and was well received, and this round removes contrast from the silhouette entirely in favor of a single dark tone that plays up its shape and texture.
The update focuses on the upper. Grained synthetic leather replaces a flatter finish, bringing a pebbled surface that makes the sandal look closer to a classic leather shoe than a poolside slide. Paired with the all-black treatment, the texture tones down the football influence while keeping the cleat-inspired outline easy to recognize.
Comfort comes from SUBU’s side of the partnership. The brand’s signature insole is known for its plush cushioning, and here it forms a padded bed that holds the foot securely and makes the sandal wearable for more than quick trips outside.
