Alfa Romeo unveiled a one-of-one specification of its flagship supercar, the 2026 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Perla Nera. The Bottegafuoriserie division produced the custom build to showcase a monochromatic aesthetic. Every car in the 33-unit production run is already sold despite a starting price exceeding $2 million. This demand highlights a market interest in highly personalized vehicles commissioned through bespoke programs. An unnamed collector drove the creative vision for this specific build and selected the Perla Nera name to cement its identity.
The exterior of the supercar features a matte black finish over exposed carbon fiber bodywork. Technicians laid the carbon fiber by hand inside the mold to ensure the weave followed the aerodynamic contours of the vehicle. Custom black three-spoke alloy wheels and matching black byte calipers round out the styling. Beneath the skin, the Perla Nera utilizes a carbon fiber monocoque and H-frame aluminum chassis to provide a rigid foundation for the road.
A traditional combustion powerplant sits at the heart of this dark build. The twin-turbo V6 engine powers the car and produces 620 horsepower. All power travels to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This configuration carries significance because while an electric option was announced for the series, no buyers have ordered an EV version yet. Client preference for the V6 engine suggests that high-end collectors still prioritize gas-powered performance for personalized vehicles.
The customized interior follows the blacked-out theme by combining exposed carbon fiber with Alcantara upholstery. This cabin is built entirely around the driver and features sports seats redesigned to fit the specific physical requirements of the owner. Custom elements include a classic cannelloni pattern on the door cards and sills. Heritage symbols like the Quadrifoglio and Autodelta logos appear throughout the layout.
Individualization extends to the controls where the owner’s initials appear on the rotary selector. The custom Perla Nera logo is placed in multiple locations including on a rear-wall storage compartment. This storage space features a 03/33 numbering plate to denote the position of the chassis in the production run. A custom Alcantara-wrapped luggage set also bears the 03/33 numbering. Owners will find the Perla Nera on display at the Museo Alfa Romeo in Arese until October 18.
