COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has linked up again with ASICS for another collaboration of the Tarther trainer. The original COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT and Asics Tarther collaboration occurred with CDG SHIRT’s spring/summer 2021 collection.

Just in time for the fall/winter season, the second iteration takes on an animalistic aesthetic by fusing pops of neon leopard print throughout the silhouette. The bold-colored designs are presented on the sidewall and the shoe’s underfoot. The rest of the shoe’s body is comprised of mesh and leather in white with additional suede overlays. The trainer comes in lime and aquarium colorways.

The Tarther trainer was originally inspired by the ASICS Tiger Runner, which made its debut in the ’80s. Additionally, its midsoles are made out of EVA foam, while the sole is made from rubber. Both of these elements guarantee a comfortable, yet casual feel.

Priced at £319 (about $442 USD) the shoes are currently available on Aphrodite Clothing’s website.

In related news, check out the new COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x KAWS collaboration that is also available at Aphrodite Clothing.
