Telfar Teases Converse Pro Leather Slip On and Mary Jane Release
The athletic-inspired collaboration begins with a co-branded duffle bag.
New York label Telfar has followed up its recent capsule with UGG by presenting its latest collaboration with Converse. The new release focuses on a co-branded duffle bag, as well as the promise of collaborative footwear styles to arrive in the near future.
The Telfar Clemens-led label is due to release two athletic-influenced styles, inspired by the message that “sport is for everyone.” Reworking a court classic, Telfar has updated the Pro Leather into a black slip-on style, sliced through its star and chevron logo to create unisex ballet flat. The label has also transformed that silhouette into a Mary Jane-style silhouette, with a strap featuring the star and chevron in suede appliqué ad an embossed Telfar lock up sitting across tonal white upper.
While the Pro Leather styles are the stars of the show, the collection also includes a pair of All Star Slides, super soft T-shirts, ringer tanks and a lightweight jersey hoodie. Additionally, the athletic-inspired collection arrives with a Telfar x Converse duffel bag to put it in, complete with mesh pockets, the collaboration’s TC logo and the Telfar STAR silkscreened on to one side.
The duffle bag is due to hit the Telfar and Converse web stores on July 2, before the full collection releases via the Telfar site on July 6.
