Tyler, The Creator and his GOLF le FLEUR* label have once again teamed up with Converse to expand their archive-inspired 1908 Series, introducing a dynamic new footwear capsule designed for the next generation. Blending classic 1970s basketball heritage with retro running aesthetics, this highly anticipated collaboration reimagines two iconic silhouettes: the 1908 Pro Leather and the 1908 Jogger. Taking cues from vintage bootleg culture and b-boy styling, the collection expertly merges hand-picked archival design details with exaggerated, contemporary proportions. The result is a thoughtfully curated release that honors Converse’s storied sporting legacy while injecting Tyler’s signature, eclectic design language into everyday streetwear.

The 1908 Pro Leather revives the iconic ’70s basketball shoe once worn by legends like Dr. J and Magic Johnson, but Tyler reshapes it for a new generation. His version features a low‑top profile, wider eyelet rows, chunky laces and a rubber toe cap embossed with an oversized star, a fresh take on Converse’s chevron logo. This model arrives in three distinct, vintage-inspired colorways. The “Amazon” iteration features a rich green suede base contrasted by crisp white leather overlays, whereas a reverse “White” option utilizes a pristine leather upper framed by green suede accents. A third, vibrant red suede version rounds out the Pro Leather offerings, all grounded by deliberately aged, tan gum midsoles that amplify the shoe’s retro appeal.

Complementing the basketball silhouette is the 1908 Jogger, a sleek revival of the classic 1970s Coach running shoe. For this release, the traditional nylon and suede construction is reimagined with a premium, full-grain leather upper, elevating its aesthetic for modern casual wear. The clean base sits atop a comfortable, retro foam midsole and a highly textured sawtooth rubber outsole designed for reliable everyday traction. Available in two versatile colorways, the “White” option is accented by baby blue side panel branding and soft off-white laces. Meanwhile, the “Black” variation offers a stealthier, monochromatic look highlighted by stark white logos on the tongue tags and laterals. Woven Converse tongue labels and subtle GOLF le FLEUR* insignias complete the joggers, delivering a cohesive blend of athletic function and sophisticated styling.
