Converse and Tyler, The Creator are expanding their collaborative 1908 program with a bold update to the iconic Pro Leather silhouette. Dropping in four distinct new colorways – “Molten Lava,” “Bison,” “White,” and “Black” – the release showcases the sheer versatility of the reimagined 1976 basketball classic.

The “Black” and “White” iterations anchor the collection with a clean, foundational aesthetic built from premium full-grain leather. For a more textured, striking look, the “Bison” colorway offers a warm, earthy brown suede paired with soft yellow accents, while the “Molten Lava” execution turns up the volume in a vibrant red suede complete with contrasting laces. Each expression highlights Tyler’s unique instinct for color and material storytelling, proving how much aesthetic range can live inside a single sneaker.

Drawing inspiration from the bootleg shops that historically reshaped footwear silhouettes by hand, this updated Pro Leather features significantly exaggerated proportions. The shoe boasts a wider toe box, oversized eyelet rows, and chunky laces that give it a confident, heavy-set stance. Archival cues like the perforated detailing, classic heel panel, and the iconic Star Chevron logo maintain the shoe’s rich heritage, while a new embossed star stretching across the toe cap adds a fresh structural dimension.
