Hulu has released the first official trailer for The Land, an upcoming scripted drama centered on the Cleveland Browns and produced in direct partnership with the NFL. The series comes from creator Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, Paradise) and explores the volatile dynamics surrounding the franchise on and off the field.
Christopher Meloni stars as Danny Roarke, Cleveland’s head coach tasked with revitalizing the struggling organization. With his career on the line, Roarke’s fortunes hinge on his son, Connor Roarke, a rookie quarterback out of Ohio State whose fictional draft moment was filmed live during the 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh. In the front office, team owner Hal Durkin (William H. Macy) faces his own corporate succession battle as he decides which of his two daughters will take over the franchise. Describing the storyline, Macy characterized the writing as “Shakespearean,” noting that the series balances the sport with profound personal stakes.
The ensemble cast features Mandy Moore, Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, Chloe Bennet, Bridget Moynahan, and Omar Epps. With the NFL serving as an official co-producer, the production integrates authentic league branding and behind-the-scenes access to capture professional football culture.
The Land premieres on Hulu on February 15, airing the day after Super Bowl LXI.
