The upcoming event is set to take place at the Los Angeles State Historic Park from September 16 to September 18, 2022 — establishing an extra day to make it a three-day festival. The announcement of Primavera Sound Los Angeles’ inaugural event arrives after its original 2020 dates were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, then again in 2021. A lineup is yet to be announced.
Supposed attendees who have already purchased their tickets can choose to hold on to it for the 2022 event or request a refund by July 29, 2021.
Primavera Sound in Barcelona was also cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, but the upcoming 2022 event is set to feature the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Tame Impala, Gorillaz, The Strokes, Jorja Smith, Megan Thee Stallion, Jay Electronica BROCKHAMPTON, Playboi Cartiand slowthai, along with the awaited return of Lorde. This festival will take place on June 2 to June 4 and June 9 to June 11, 2022.
