Betting Odds Reveal Kanye West's Slim Chances to Become President
As the controversial figure has not formally applied to put his name on the ballot.

Shortly after announcing his “2020 presidential run,” betting odds for Kanye West‘s informal bid for the role of President of the United States has now captured headlines.
According to reports, oddsmakers are currently putting together a look at the controversial figure’s odds to win the election. It is important to note that it is too late to get on the ballot as an independent candidate in many states, leaving the status of Kanye’s “official” presidential bid still up in the air with no real applications received by the Federal Election Commission.
Although odds do fluctuate and differ from platform to platform, Kanye’s prevailing odds of winning the election are widely set at +6,600, or 66-to-1, the same odds Vice President Mike Pence has to win the election. Offering some context, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is currently at +5,000 to win, while former First Lady Michelle Obama sits at +8,000.
Additionally, at the moment presumptive Democratic nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden is currently the running favorite, at minus-150, while President Donald Trump currently sits at +135, in the eyes of oddsmakers.
