Benny The Butcher returns with his new single “Deal Or No Deal” with instrumental duties handled by in-house Griselda Records producer Daringer.

The beat is minimalist with a stark bass-line carrying the sonics to truly let the Buffalo emcee shine. “A brick of yay and a genie, that’s what it takes just to be me/ ‘Cause I’m too bougie for broke b*tches and too gangster for TV/ After the RICO, the cash came fast illegal/ Y’all cover y’all battered egos in jewelry and Valentino.” There’s no denying that The Butcher is one of the best lyrical entities in the game today, and following last year’s The Plugs I Met, the raw and militant energy on Griselda’s major label debut WWCD and numerous standout features, it’s clear that we’re overdue for a full-length project from him.

The track follows Benny’s busy output in recent months as a featured guest on the likes of Westside Gunn‘s Flygod Is An Awesome God II track “Buffs vs. Wires” where he matched Boldy James in an iron-sharpens-iron display of lyricism. Benny also announced his executive producer and acting contributions to Griselda’s first feature film Conflicted and rapped his favorite The Plugs I Met offerings for NPR’s Tiny Desk Home Concerts.

Stream “Deal Or No Deal” below. In more music updates, after announcing his bid for presidency, Kanye West and his YEEZY imprint reportedly received $2 million USD from Donald Trump’s federal pandemic loan program for small businesses.
