MILLENNIUM PARADE drops "Blue," their first new single in two years, featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar.

The collaborative track serves as the official ending theme song for Science SARU's ‘THE GHOST IN THE SHELL’ anime.

Founded by Daiki Tsuneta, the multidisciplinary collective fuses experimental production with soulful, cross-cultural songwriting.

Japanese music collective MILLENNIUM PARADE, has returned with its first new release in nearly two years, unveiling the single “Blue” featuring Japanese‑Canadian artist Saya Gray and Grammy Award‑winning singer‑songwriter Daniel Caesar.

Released today, the track serves as the official ending theme for Science SARU’s THE GHOST IN THE SHELL anime. Alongside the streaming release, a new promotional trailer and a creditless ending sequence for the cyberpunk series have dropped, giving fans their first look at the track paired with the anime’s old-school, hand-drawn futuristic visuals.

The sweeping global collaboration acts as a cross-cultural bridge that began taking shape nearly three years ago as an organic studio project between MILLENNIUM PARADE founder Daiki Tsuneta – the visionary creative force behind King Gnu – and Gray. The track was later completed when Tsuneta connected with Caesar while traveling, finalizing an emotionally resonant arrangement that effortlessly blends experimental production with soulful, intimate songwriting. Tsuneta expressed his long-standing admiration for both guest musicians’ exceptional talents, while Gray highlighted the process as a “spicy fun” blend of distinct artistic worlds.

MILLENNIUM PARADE’s “Blue” featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar is now available to stream on major music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
