adidas Basketball is officially launching its highly anticipated BB.01 performance silhouette

The innovative model introduces the brand's revolutionary Project: R.A.P. additive manufacturing platform

The hyper-exclusive sneaker will make its official hardwood debut during the NBA Summer League

The adidas Basketball BB.01 is officially arriving to usher in a completely new era of performance footwear technology. Built on the brand’s pioneering Project: R.A.P. (Radical Athlete Perception) innovation platform, this silhouette completely reimagines how basketball sneakers are engineered. By utilizing cutting-edge additive manufacturing, the design team has created a sneaker tailored to the fluid movements of modern athletes.

The defining feature of this groundbreaking performance model is its fully integrated 3D-printed lattice structure. This advanced mesh wraps seamlessly around the foot, providing a bespoke, futuristic feel that adapts dynamically to explosive cuts and sudden shifts on the hardwood. Next-generation adidas athlete Mikel Brown Jr. is officially locked in to debut the futuristic silhouette on court during his first NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas.

Securing a pair will require swift action, as adidas is keeping this inaugural drop intensely localized and strictly limited to a global run of just 169 pairs. The release strategy divides the scarce inventory numerically, allocating 50 pairs to the Las Vegas flagship activation, 89 pairs to the digital space, and the remaining 30 pairs specifically for Greater China. The brand is using this hyper-limited rollout to introduce its vision for the future of custom sportswear, catering directly to collectors looking to experience the absolute apex of basketball design.

The adidas Basketball BB.01 first drops on July 10, 2026, at the adidas Las Vegas flagship store, followed by a digital release on July 14, 2026, via the adidas CONFIRMED app.
