Amazon's Placeholder Page for the PlayStation 5 Has Officially Gone Live
Many speculate a pre-order announcement is imminent.

Ever since Sony revealed the official first images of the PlayStation 5, fans have been anticipating a pre-order date and price point for the system. It now appears both answers are on the horizon, as Amazon has finally launched a landing page for the forthcoming console.
The landing page showcases new product images of the sleek console and its accessories, including the DualSense controller’s charging station, which allows users to charge two controllers at the same time. The page boasts that PlayStation 5’s users will “experience lightning-fast loading with an ultra-high-speed SSD,” remarking on previously established hardware specs.
The page also showcases its accessories, most notably the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, which includes noise-canceling microphones. Listed at the end of the landing page are previously announced PS5 exclusives like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and more, none of which have their own listings as of yet.
Although there’s a landing page for the console, there is still no pre-order options. However, it does mean an announcement about pre-orders, including a pricepoint for the system, is likely imminent. Amazon also briefly showcased a price for the standalone console as well as its Digital Edition counterpart. Other retailers like Best Buy now have landing pages for the PlayStation 5, and even have a sign-up option for customers when the system officially goes live.
