Polo G Returns With New Lyrical Lemonade Helmed "21" Music Video
A true one-take visual from the Chicago star.
Chicago rapper Polo G returns with his latest visual installment from his critically acclaimed project The GOAT, this time tapping Lyrical Lemonade and Cole Bennett for the new “21” music video.
The one-take visual finds Polo G maneuvering through empty corridors, ducking bullets sent his way and occupying a prison holding cell. “A true one take, no cuts,” Director Cole Bennett said in a recent Instagram post. “Polo is a star. Thankful for everyone involved in this project.” Polo’s latest video follows “Wishing for a Hero” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid and his Scottie Pippen homage titled “33” shot in the streets of Chicago during the coronavirus quarantines.
Since debuting in mid-March, Polo G’s The GOAT has maintained a steady presence on the Billboard 200 chart. It premiered at No. 2 behind Future’s High Off Life and continues to be a mainstay. His continual push for new visuals has only helped the project’s staying power. Meanwhile, Polo’s debut album DIE A LEGEND celebrated an entire calendar year on the Top 200 album chart since its June 2019 release.
