Nike Introduces the React ART3MIS in Bold "Bright Crimson"
The first Nike React lifestyle sneaker designed specifically for women.
Although Nike‘s React foam was originally brought to market as a high-performance piece of technology, it’s also set down deep roots in the lifestyle sphere — the latest result of which is the React ART3MIS. The first-ever React lifestyle sneaker designed exclusively for women, the ART3MIS expounds upon its spiritual predecessors like the React Element 87 and React Vision, but adds conceptual touches that are undeniably all its own.
White uppers are constructed of a gridded nylon and boast a seamless design for a smooth and sleek fit. Black Swooshes on the lateral and medial quarter provide branded flair, making for a top half with look and shape somewhat reminiscent of the React-Type GTX, sans the GORE-TEX build. This stark base is bolstered by vibrant pops of crimson, volt and light blue on the stacked eyestays and elongated tongue/heel tabs, the latter of which features black React branding.
Thick, wavy white midsoles use dual-density React foam for extra comfort. A familiar noodled traction pattern appears towards the forefoot, and the heel is cored out to show a red center. Light blue lugs and rubber pieces on the outsole add durability and a finishing dash of flair alike.
The Nike React ART3MIS “Bright Crimson” is slated to release via Nike SNKRS China on June 30. The MSRP is set at ¥899 CNY (approximately $127 USD).
