Polo G Pays Homage to Scottie Pippen In New "33" Music Video
From his new album ‘The GOAT.’
Chicago rapper Polo G returns with his new “33” music video, an homage to legendary Chicago Bulls small forward Scottie Pippen (and a timely release to coincide with the finale of ESPN and Netflix’s The Last Dance which currently reigns as the world’s most popular documentary).
Last Friday he dropped his new album The GOAT, featuring an all-star cast of some of the industry’s biggest names, ranging from a posthumous Juice WRLD appearance and Lil Baby verses, to Mustard and BJ The Chicago Kid.
The “33” visual was shot by Ryan Lynch and follows Polo G throughout his hometown, hanging out in the empty streets of Chicago and occasionally practicing the six-feet of social distancing while wearing custom masks due to the coronavirus pandemic. “33” isn’t the only time that the rapper uses numerology on his album either, as “21” pays homage to the untimely death of Juice WRLD, who was 21-years-old at the time of his passing.
