Gunna Premieres New "WUNNA" Single
His sophomore studio album ‘WUNNA’ drops this Friday.
Late last week Gunna announced this his forthcoming sophomore studio album WUNNA would be releasing Friday, May 22 via Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment with a preview of his new documentary trailer presented by Amazon Music. Today he returns with his title track “WUNNA.”
“WUNNA” is a preview of what’s to come, as the Turbo-produced track is a subtle dose of hypnotizing keys and heavy-bass. With his new album on the way, Gunna has refined his approach, skipping his “Drip” thematics for a crisp sound while his ear for melodies and stream-of-consciousness flows are as on-point as ever. The new single follows his “SKYBOX” music video.
Gunna also teamed up with Young Thug and Turbo for the social-distancing track “Quarantine Clean,” tapping in with their coronavirus routines while holed up in the studio. He also linked with friends NAV and Travis Scott for the recent “Turks” music video from NAV’s Good Intentions. As is the case with the prolific Atlanta-born and bred artist, there are simply too many features to count.
