18 East's Spring Collection Draws From Travels to Jaipur and Tangier
Handloom textiles, bold new prints & more.

Last month, New York-based 18 East tapped Northern Ireland brand ArkAir for a three-piece range of apparel and accessories featuring an Indian Ajrak all-over print. Drawing on the diverse influences stemming from trips to Jaipur and Tangier, 18 East has unveiled its March 2020 lookbook for the spring season.
Grounded in an earth-toned palette of white, brown and moss green, the handloom textiles are accented with vibrant colors like berry, orange and orchid — referencing how flowers blossom in the springtime. Fabrics such as hand screened cupro, Japanese nylon and terry fleece give the drop a range of textural qualities, while eye-catching prints and patterns evoke this season’s global influences.
Highlights of the ensemble include a turquoise short sleeve shirt with an illustration taken from 18 East’s travels and front pockets that seamlessly blend into the design, along with new graphic crewnecks and T-shirts. Other key pieces include an assortment of knitwear from Philadelphia-based ALLCAPSTUDIO and the return of the brand’s cotton Khadi Gorecki cargo pants. Matching bucket hats round out the collection.
Check out the spring looks in the slideshow above and expect the drop to go live on 18 East’s website beginning March 12 at 11 a.m. EST. The products from the collection will be released weekly throughout the month of March.
