Yohji Yamamoto Y's Rejoins New Era for Minimalist SS20 Capsule

Yohji Yamamoto‘s New Era collaborations continue, following the latter label’s 100th anniversary drop with a special offering for Yamamoto’s sub-label, Y’s. Though Y’s generally produces womenswear, the New Era capsule is genderless, comprising a versatile monochrome selection of seasonal essentials.
A classic New Era 9Thirty hat, bucket cap, hoodie, T-shirt and light backpack are decked out in Yamamoto’s preferred black shade, complete with understated branding. Dark purple Y’s logos are embroidered on each summer-weight item, complete with New Era imagery in the same shade. Unlike last summer’s New Era colloboration, this release sees the Y’s logos minimized, almost blending into the dark backdrop.
Japanese New Era stores and select stockists, including Yohji Yamamoto’s web store will receive Y’s SS20 collaborative release on February 21.
