Meek Mill and Justin Timberlake Collaborate for Drama-Filled "Believe" Video
The motivational anthem pays tribute to Nipsey Hussle.
Meek Mill and Justin Timberlake have teamed up for a motivational new anthem “Believe” complete with an emotional new music video directed by Maxime Quoilin. The visual follows the stories of two different protagonists, each trying to overcome different obstacles ranging from a young woman overcoming an addiction and overdose through boxing and a man incarcerated and balancing his relationships with family members in the outside world. During the video, Meek holds up his Nipsey Hussle chain to pay tribute to his friend and collaborator.
“Follow your dreams, not your addictions/ How we gone follow our dreams locked in a prison?/ They tried to swallow me whole, God be my witness/ Deprive me out of my dreams but I’m relentless,” Meek raps, referencing his time in prison and his lobbying for both social and justice system reform. The song also marks Justin Timberlake’s first major release since his 2018 album Man of the Woods. The duo debuted the collaboration through a behind the scenes video showcasing the process of producing the song. Justin can be seen taking the reins and adding a new bass line while Meek discusses the music video’s themes.

Say I believe in myself ..when everybody stop believing never leave on yourself …they had my back against the wall I had to lean on myself… almost made me put my dreams on the shelf “I’m tripping”
