With another week we have yet another installment of our product drops series, this time marked by a host of standout releases. Leading the list is the return of Palace with the inaugural offering of its Spring 2020 collection and the wider release of Tom Sachs‘ NIKECRAFT Transitions collection.

Coming back strong, Palace has prepared an expansive line up of uniquely British streetwear. The upcoming release helps perfectly introduce the altered menswear staples, technical outerwear and bold Tri-Ferg marked streetwear the label has prepared for the season.

Aside from Palace’s new selection of goods, we have an impressive array of special rollouts and collaborations that make up a selection of must-have street staples.

A notable collaboration this week is CLOT and Mitchell & Ness‘s latest team-up centered around Allen Iverson‘s time with the Philadelphia 76ers and Kevin Durant‘s time with the Seattle SonicsGucci has prepared a special capsule to drop during NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago, Patta put together a lightweight Polartec range and BlackEyePatch dropped its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Other highlights include the Spring 2020 collection from ICECREAM and the second installment in The North Face‘s “Seven Summits” collection.

BlackEyePatch SS20 Collection

For SS20, BlackEyePatch has prepared a new collection of vibrant streetwear staples. Garments like leather biker jackets, tracksuits, hoodies, crewnecks and T-shirts are marked with the imprint’s bold logo.

Standouts include series of leather motorcycle jackets emblazoned on the back with “BlackEyePatch” branding wrapped between two thin horizontal stripes. The front of the jacket is marked with a logo in a smaller font above a horizontal pattern with a central dark silver-tone zipper. Finally, thick black ribbing appears at the collars, sleeve cuffs and hem to round up the design of the outerwear piece. Other notables are “Orange,” “Green” and “Black” tracksuits defined by thick side stripes framed by rows of gleaming sequin in a tonal palette.

ICECREAM Spring 2020 Collection

Continuing its return, Pharrell Williams‘ throwback streetwear brand ICECREAM has now delivered its Spring 2020 collection.

The latest seasonal range offers a mix of staples in the form of lightweight outerwear, sweaters and hoodies. Sweatpants and denim also make a showing to round out the bottoms section. Designs throughout the collection reference classic ICECREAM designs and prints in over the top and subdued toolings.

The North Face “Seven Summits” Spring 2020 Everest Capsule

For the second installment of its “Seven Summits” collection, The North Face is honoring arguably the most famous mountain on the planet: Mount Everest. Focusing on sustainability, the range utilizes recycled materials collected from Everest’s base and the waterproof, breathable FUTURELIGHT material crafted from recycled polyester.

The range features three heritage pieces that have repurposed. The 7SE Jacket 1994, Retro Mountain Light Pant and accompanying hat have been executed in bold pink or versatile black, complete with customizable velcro patches. Rounding up the installment are Bottle Source T-shirts, emblazoned with printed graphics that showcase Everest itself and the latitude/longitude of the other six major summits.

CLOT x Mitchell & Ness Iverson & Durant Capsule

Coming together once again, CLOT and Mitchell & Ness have teamed up on a capsule celebrating Allen Iverson‘s time with the Philadelphia 76ers and Kevin Durant‘s time with the Seattle Sonics.

The special range is comprised of two Hardwood Classics jacquard-knitted wool kits designed by CLOT co-founder Edison Chen. The kits draw direct inspiration from the classic Jersey designs of the teams, switching up the traditional sports-focused fabrics for something more comfortable and leisure-orientated look. The Iverson kit comes with a shooting shirt and beanie, while Durant’s set comes with a beanie. Accompanying the kits are a variety of beanies that pay homage to NBA history, as well as two Spalding basketballs featuring both CLOT and Mitchell & Ness branding.

Patta Polartec Collection

Looking to help combat the current cold weather, Patta has put together its Polartec collection comprised of lightweight fleece first layers.

Utilizing Polartec 100 weight fabrics, the Dutch streetwear mainstay crafted a tracksuit accompanied by matching bucket hat, flap cap, gloves and a neck gaiter. All done in a “Port Royal/Eggplant” and “Black” colorways, each piece is simply finished with Patta’s signature subtle branding in a variety of forms.

Gucci All-Star Weekend Chicago-Exclusive Capsule

To accompany this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend, Gucci has readied a special capsule launching in Chicago first. Centered around swirling rainbow-hued prints, the expansive collection ranges from menswear to genderless accessories, including a Gucci basketball.

The expansive selection features an array of accessories and footwear to complement garments like hooded windbreakers, camp shirts, swim trunks and a standalone hood. Rounding up the range are bucket bags, briefcases and luggage, and other leather goods, including an iPhone case and billfold.

Palace Spring 2020 Week 1

Following a short break, Palace is now back with the inaugural drop of its Spring 2020 collection. The first drop of the seasonal range introduces the latest altered menswear staples, technical outerwear and bold Tri-Ferg marked streetwear the label has prepared.

Standout pieces include technical GORE-TEX jackets with taped seams and branded details, rich mohair cardigans with all-over Olde English text, faux snakeskin leather jackets/bucket hats, heat-reactive color-changing jackets and “mantra meditation” printed shirts. Marking the first release is an array of accessories ranging from bags to dartboards and an array of decks emblazoned with a series of psychedelic graphics.

Tom Sachs x NIKECRAFT Transitions Collection

Tom SachsNIKECRAFT Transitions collection is now set for a wider global release. The special range is centered around “transparency of materials and of construction” and according to Sachs features the “same value and integrity of the sculptures that I make in the studio.”

The NIKECRAFT Transitions collection was introduced globally by the Mars Yard Overshoe, leading the apparel side of the collaboration is the research-intensive exploding Poncho. The unique is constructed of the same Dyneema®️ fabric used on the shoe and three-layer waterproof breathable fabric, while trinity case features ceramic beads created by Sachs’ studio. A fidlock buckle offers ease of use and the print at the rear proudly reveals the item was manufactured in Vietnam. Other items included in the range include a duo of fidlock buckle closure Down Shorts, T-shirts marked with text-graphics by Tom Sachs and an astronaut inspired cap.
