With another week we have yet another installment of our product drops series, this time marked by a host of standout releases. Leading the list is the return of Palace with the inaugural offering of its Spring 2020 collection and the wider release of Tom Sachs‘ NIKECRAFT Transitions collection.
Coming back strong, Palace has prepared an expansive line up of uniquely British streetwear. The upcoming release helps perfectly introduce the altered menswear staples, technical outerwear and bold Tri-Ferg marked streetwear the label has prepared for the season.
Aside from Palace’s new selection of goods, we have an impressive array of special rollouts and collaborations that make up a selection of must-have street staples.
A notable collaboration this week is CLOT and Mitchell & Ness‘s latest team-up centered around Allen Iverson‘s time with the Philadelphia 76ers and Kevin Durant‘s time with the Seattle Sonics. Gucci has prepared a special capsule to drop during NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago, Patta put together a lightweight Polartec range and BlackEyePatch dropped its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Other highlights include the Spring 2020 collection from ICECREAM and the second installment in The North Face‘s “Seven Summits” collection.
BlackEyePatch SS20 Collection
For SS20, BlackEyePatch has prepared a new collection of vibrant streetwear staples. Garments like leather biker jackets, tracksuits, hoodies, crewnecks and T-shirts are marked with the imprint’s bold logo.
Standouts include series of leather motorcycle jackets emblazoned on the back with “BlackEyePatch” branding wrapped between two thin horizontal stripes. The front of the jacket is marked with a logo in a smaller font above a horizontal pattern with a central dark silver-tone zipper. Finally, thick black ribbing appears at the collars, sleeve cuffs and hem to round up the design of the outerwear piece. Other notables are “Orange,” “Green” and “Black” tracksuits defined by thick side stripes framed by rows of gleaming sequin in a tonal palette.
ICECREAM Spring 2020 Collection
The latest seasonal range offers a mix of staples in the form of lightweight outerwear, sweaters and hoodies. Sweatpants and denim also make a showing to round out the bottoms section. Designs throughout the collection reference classic ICECREAM designs and prints in over the top and subdued toolings.
The North Face “Seven Summits” Spring 2020 Everest Capsule
For the second installment of its “Seven Summits” collection, The North Face is honoring arguably the most famous mountain on the planet: Mount Everest. Focusing on sustainability, the range utilizes recycled materials collected from Everest’s base and the waterproof, breathable FUTURELIGHT material crafted from recycled polyester.
The range features three heritage pieces that have repurposed. The 7SE Jacket 1994, Retro Mountain Light Pant and accompanying hat have been executed in bold pink or versatile black, complete with customizable velcro patches.
