PnB Rock Enlists Pop Smoke for Wildly Energetic Single "Ordinary"
The Philadelphia rapper’s first output of 2020.
Pop Smoke is taking his victory lap. Less than a week after dropping his sophomore album Meet The Woo 2, the Brooklyn rapper has added a few tracks and remixes for the deluxe version, including a guest verse from Gunna. Now Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock returns with “Ordinary,” a new track that lets Pop Smoke loose for the first half of the song to showcase his signature raspy delivery over an ominous and hard-hitting beat.
“I threw a opp back in the air in my McLaren (Woo)/ I put eight racks of baguettes up in my earrings (Woo)/ I’m dripped in VLONE, that’s what I’m wearing (Woo)/ Trey close to kilo, ain’t ordinary,” the Brooklyn emcee raps in the chorus.
PnB Rock’s recent project TrapStar Turnt PopStar landed the rapper in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Hot 200 charts. “Ordinary” is his first creative output since linking with Nicki Minaj and Murda Beats for “Fendi”. Last summer, Ed Sheeran tapped PnB Rock to join Chance The Rapper for “Cross Me”.
Stream “Ordinary” now and in more music updates, Drake has invested in a new live-streaming service to bring the world’s biggest rap battle competition to its largest audience yet.
