40s & Shorties Throws It Back to 1990 With Color-Popping Spring 2020 Collection
Releasing later this month.

Los Angeles-based label 40s & Shorties has unveiled its Spring 2020 collection, showcasing a bevy of garments inspired by 1990s and 2000s influences.
Notable pieces from 40s & Shorties include a cable knit sweater sporting an all-over tie-dye pattern, as well as a workwear-inspired shirt that incorporates dual chest pockets, embroidered branding and a patchwork-like mixture of colorful checks. The label references American sportswear with its red, white, blue and black-themed long-sleeve rugby shirt, and further taps workwear influences with a black-and-white striped vest.
Elsewhere, the Spring 2020 collection offers a technical color-blocked two-piece, ’90s-indebted items such as a white T-shirt sporting a fictional rap album cover alongside overshirts embroidered with Hi-Fi logos, and another T-shirt which features an ’80s-inspired “Boogie Woogie” disco dance night flyer graphic.
Rounding out the seasonal drop is a selection of caps and bags, as well as socks, providing a nod to the label’s roots. Check out the 40s & Shorties Spring 2020 collection in the lookbook above, and keep an eye out for its release on the brand’s website when it drops on February 20.
