Tame Impala Tugs on Nostalgia in Latest Single "Lost In Yesterday"
A fresh cut off his forthcoming album, ‘The Slow Rush.’

Tame Impala is gearing up for the release of The Slow Rush with their newest single, “Lost In Yesterday.” The track follows the release of “Borderline” in April 2019, “It Might Be Time” in October 2019 and “Posthumous Forgiveness” in December 2019. Clocking in at just a little over four minutes, the latest concoction from frontman Kevin Parker plays around with a groovy bass riff, laying the foundation for his characteristically psychedelic sounds that ride alongside haunting lyricism about the dangers of nostalgia.
The Slow Rush is billed as Tame Impala’s fourth studio LP and the first since 2015’s Currents. The album will be composed of 12 tracks with the full listing yet to be revealed. Parker and the rest of the band are scheduled to have a busy year ahead of them, with appearances set for festivals like Bonnaroo on top of their Summer 2020 tour with MGMT, Clairo and Perfume Genius.
