Moses Sumney Shares 3-Track EP 'Me in 20 Years'
As part of his forthcoming double album, ‘græ.’
Moses Sumney has dropped off a short EP, Me in 20 Years. Comprised of three tracks, the project includes previous singles “Polly” and “Virile” along with the brand new title track co-produced by Daniel Lopatin (also known as Oneohtrix Point Never) and Matt Otto. All three songs will appear on the musician’s upcoming double album græ, to be released in two parts this 2020 via Jagjaguwar.
Sumney recently spoke to Zane Lowe about the single, “When I first played [Lopatin] the demo, which was wordless and me singing at the top of my lungs and range, he said that it sounded like an old lady screaming to herself in the middle of a Whole Foods. And that I realized then and there that that is my brand. So that’s what the song is, it’s just me and screaming in the middle of Whole Foods. It’s just such an exaggeration. I think that we’re really melodramatic generation and I also think that, us, millennials have a very complicated relationship with aging.”

Elsewhere in music, Kanye West is reportedly plotting a European and American Sunday Service tour.
