Opening Ceremony and HOKA ONE ONE Reunite For Limited Edition Drop
The special Clifton model will arrive in three lifestyle-geared colorways.
Opening Ceremony and HOKA ONE ONE are continuing a long-standing collaborative relationship with three fresh takes on the Clifton. One of the most popular shoes in HOKA ONE ONE’s running lineup, the Clifton is normally known for its blend of stability and cushioning, but here its potent performance takes a backseat to lifestyle-geared embellishments.
The Clifton line is currently on its 6th model, but Opening Ceremony used the Clifton 3 as a reference point for this co-created effort. The renowned retailer also equipped the highly regarded runner with a trio of bold color schemes: a sandy tan hue with warm orange and cool blue accents, a stark black with high-wattage yellow and purple hits and a classic white with pops of red, blue and steel grey.
Apart from the alternate palettes, a cut-out leather midfoot cage is present on all three styles, adding layered detailing and casual style. HOKA ONE ONE’s signature thick EVA foam midsole rounds off each look, ensuring that the shoe’s original high speed ethos remans intact amongst the alternate construction.
This marks OC and HOKA ONE ONE’S first collaboration of 2020, following up the earth-toned Tor Ultra Hi boots and tonal Bondi 5s that the pair presented in 2019. All three colorways will release at Opening Ceremony and Hoka’s EU webstore on February 21, with a retail price of £135 GBP (approximately $177 USD).
