Starting 2020 off in energetic fashion, 24karats and K-Swiss have teamed up for an electric take on the ST429 dubbed “Thunder.” Crackling with charged style, the shoe presents a bold, layered look by using 24Karats’ signature “Space Galaxy Thunder” print.

Covering a black mesh base, the upper’s overlays are dressed entirely in an astral print rife with lightning graphics and offering an aurora borealis-style mix of purple, green and blue tones. Eyestays rise all the way up from the midsole to provide extra layered detail, and are dressed in hi-vis reflective silver to make the design even more visible.

Neon hues are given their moment as well, with a bright green appearing on the heel and vivid orange on the rope laces. These same colors are used for the shoe’s special branded accents: a green 24Karats badge is stamped on the toebox and a hybrid “24Kswiss” embellishment appears in orange on the mudguard. More reflective motifs appear on the heel, while the look is completed by a black midsole with SS cushioning and an icy translucent outsole. The shoes are accompanied by a green 24Karats charm, and select matching apparel pieces are available for purchase as well.

The 24karats x K-Swiss ST429 “Thunder” is available at retailers like atmos now for ¥14,000 JPY (approximately $129 USD).

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, LeBron James‘s Nike LeBron 17 recently released in an “Infrared” colorway inspired by the Air Jordan 6.
