James Cameron Reveals Concept Art for 'Avatar' Sequels

Aside from taking to CES 2020 to help Mercedes-Benz unveil its Avatar-inspired Vision concept car, James Cameron also revealed concept art for the sequels to his 2009 blockbuster film.
The famed director showed those in attendance four images that offer another look at the fictional world of Pandora. According to a post on the official Avatar Twitter account, “In the Avatar sequels, you won’t just return to Pandora — you’ll explore new parts of the world. Check out these brand new concept art pieces for a sneak peek at what’s to come.”
The concept art spotlights stunning waterside landscapes and reintroduces us to the Na’vi and their winged mountain banshees. Although rumors have been scarce, we are expected to see four Avatar sequels hit theatres December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025.
