HBX and retaW Introduce "MUK" Fragrance
A collaborative scent available in three distinct forms.
The expansive world of top-tier fragrances is about to get a little more crowded as HBX introduces a collaborative scent with Japanese label retaW. Dubbed “MUK,” the joint effort encompasses a trio of products for dispensing the fragrance: a candle, room spray and car tag.
fragment design‘s Hiroshi Fujiwara of and the CEO of distribution company Blender founded retaW in 2009 to provide premium, organic scents for discerning customers. “MUK” upholds that mentality with a delicate blend of woodsy notes; these include top notes of Bergamot, lemongrass and lemon, set above middle notes of pine needle, lilac and coriander and base notes of cedarwood, vetiver, musk, amber and vanilla. The result is a balanced, pleasant scent that won’t overwhelm, appropriately underlined by the minimalist cream hues that inform the candle, spray and tag containers.
The bespoke retaW fragrances will be available on HBX’s site and Landmark outpost on January 8.
Most recently, HBX launched the C2H4 x mastermind WORLD Made by Alpha Industries capsule.
