'Mario Kart Tour' Is Now Available on iOS and Android (UPDATE)
The free-to-play ‘Mario Kart’ mobile game has finally arrived.
UPDATE (September 25, 2019): The highly-anticipated Mario Kart Tour is now officially available for both iOS and Android devices. Mario Kart fans can now visit Apple’s App Store or the Google Play store to download the free-to-play game.

ORIGINAL STORY (August 27, 2019): Nintendo’s upcoming free-to-play Mario Kart mobile game for Apple iOS and Android finally has a release date in the United States. Mario Kart Tour will be released on September 25 and can already be preordered via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The title is set to showcases classic courses such as Rainbow Road, Luigi’s Mansion, and a slew of new real-world inspired tracks based on Tokyo, New York, and more. According to Nintendo, these courses are “special in-game event courses … [that] will be available during specific time periods at launch and beyond.” Characters will even get “variations that incorporate the local flavor of cities featured in the game” through unlockable characters, karts, and gliders.
