OMEGA has been James Bond‘s timepiece of choice ever since GoldenEye in 1995, and the Swiss luxury watchmaker is now celebrating the 50th anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service with a new limited edition Seamaster Diver 300M.

The 42mm stainless steel case carries a sleek black bezel with a PVD-coated black ceramic dial as its centrepiece, featuring the franchise’s iconic spiral-brushed gun barrel design with a 9mm bullet head at the center. An 18K yellow gold plate can be found on the side of the case, engraved with the unique limited edition number each unit is given. The same premium luxury metal extends into the face of the watch itself, making up the hands and indexes, including the 12 o’clock mark, which carries a design inspired by the Bond family’s coat-of-arms.

The date is displayed at six o’clock, with the number “7” written in the same font as the “007” logo. A hidden “50” logo — honoring the 50th anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service — can also be found at 10 o’clock, only lighting up and revealing itself in the dark. Completing the look is a black rubber strap accompanying the standard stainless steel one. The limited edition is then housed in a collector’s black box which itself also holds gun barrel patterns and bullet head buttons.

“A fitting tribute to a classic Bond film and one of cinema’s most iconic characters. This extraordinary watch is elegant, full of surprises and sure to be extremely popular with collectors and fans of the character, due to its many Bond-related features,” said Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO at OMEGA.

The new Bond-themed OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M will be limited to 7,007 units — another tribute to the British spy — but exact pricing and release details have yet to be announced, so stay tuned for more information to come. For now, you can take a detailed look at the watch in the gallery above.

Elsewhere in watches, Urwerk has joined De Bethune to create a mirror-finished Moon Satellite watch for Only Watch 2019.
