New Balance is honoring the Toronto Raptors’ historical NBA Championship win with a special edition 997 and 990v5. Crafted with suede and mesh uppers, both silhouettes arrive with a purple base and marked overlays for additional texture. The 990v5 takes on a more simple design, contrasting the base hue with hits of black and silver on the panel branding element, toe box and stitch and turn seam. On the other hand, the 997 makes use of purple, red, black and grey colorblocking, adding a clean touch of white on the brand emblem and midsole.

The New Balance special edition 997 and 990v5 are available for U.S. and Canada preorders June 19 on newbalance.com.

In other news, the Under Armour Curry 6 “Roaracle” is paying homage to the Warriors’ long-time homecourt.
