New Balance has officially unveiled the 990v7 Made in USA in “Kool Grey,” introducing the next chapter in the brand’s heritage performance lineage. The reveal arrives through official product images following months of billboard displays and early preview shots.
Serving as the successor to the 990v6 after several years of mainline releases and collaborative projects, the 990v7 continues the visual language of the historic 990 franchise. The debut “Kool Grey” execution sports the brand’s classic grey foundation, accented with subtle hits of pale blue, soft yellow, and off-white.
Suede and mesh construct the upper, with light grey suede wrapping the toe box border, heel counter, eyestays, and lower side panels. Darker grey suede overlays frame the midfoot, while tonal grey mesh covers the toe box and side quarters.
