After a brief hiatus, Nike‘s Air Tailwind 79 is back in two new “Illusion” styles. Drawing its moniker from a wild array of prints and patterns, both pairs are packed full of detail, each utilizing an alternate take on a black, white and volt green color scheme.

One style features a black nylon base that’s accented by starkly-contrasted black and white printed details on the midfoot Swoosh and overlays. These embellishments include QR codes, trippy spirals, vectorized graphics and repeating Swoosh prints for maximum visual chaos. Bright “Volt” accents appear on the exposed foam tongue and heel tab, while a speckled midsole with text hits and smoky black outsole lend the sneaker even more graphic appeal.

Meanwhile, the other pair offers an inverted makeup. Prints are spread across the entirety of the base layer with the overlays, Swoosh and tongue all dressed in solid black. Volt green contrast stitching, accents and midsole speckling add extra flair. Finishing touches are provided by the same midsole branding and black outsole. Each pair also comes complete with a duo of lace options — volt or black — enabling the wearer to either ramp up or tone down their style.

Both makeups from the Air Tailwind 79 “Illusion” pack are scheduled to release today, December 5 via global Nike channels like Nike SNKRS China. The MSRP for each is set at ¥749 CNY (approximately $106 USD).

Elsewhere in the ever-eventful world of the Swoosh, Nike Sportswear‘s N.354 division revamped the React Sertu with a new multi-colored “Wolf Grey” style.
