‘You’ Season 2 Trailer Teases Joe Starting a New Life in Los Angeles
Joe is still a creep though.
After its breakout first season, Penn Badgley returns as Joe Goldberg in Netflix‘s second season of You. We find our quick-to-fall-in-love stalker now living in Los Angeles following his creepy and murderous love affair in New York City.
Synopsis-wise, Joe is now falling for a new woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti) who works as a grocery clerk and aspires to be a chef, however, his ex Candance (Ambyr Childers), who was introduced in season one, is still around threatening to expose Joe to the world.
In the teaser above, we see the overly obsessed Joe critiquing Instagram influencers, standing in-line at the coffee shop, and working his deceptive charm on the barista. We also learn that he’s changed his name as a means to outrun his past. Furthermore, the official tweets below show Joe mingling with a new friend, while additional footage reveals the show’s continued dark vibe.
Check out the trailer above and catch You when it arrives on Netflix December 26.
