Daniel Caesar Releases "CYANIDE: REMIX" Video Featuring Koffee
The singers hit the streets of Jamaica.
After releasing his latest album CASE STUDY 01 in June, Daniel Caesar wasted little time reworking his track “CYANIDE” into a catchy “CYANIDE: REMIX” edition assisted by Koffee. Now the two singers are back to underscore their collaborative single with a cinematic new video, dropping off a community-filled flick that takes the duo through the streets of Jamaica.
The visual was directed by Keavan Yazdani and Sean Brown for theENDS. It features guest stars Jermaine and Trevaunn Richards, who pose as announcers when the group makes their way to a horse track. Watch them all now and see the bewildering end to the events by scrolling to the video above.
Caesar has steadily become an R&B favorite, nabbing his first Grammy award at the 2019 ceremony for his song “Best Part” with H.E.R. Most recently, he joined Jacob Collier for “Time Alone With You,” the lead single from Collier’s upcoming album, Djesse Vol. 3.
Elsehwere in the music world, rapper Jack Harlow has released a video for “Walk in the Park,” which is infused with references to the classic ‘90s film The Sandlot.
