Jacob Collier Tags Daniel Caesar for "Time Alone With You"
The lead single of Collier’s forthcoming album, ‘Djesse Vol. 3.’
Jacob Collier and Daniel Caesar have teamed up once again to deliver “Time Alone With You,” the lead single off Collier’s forthcoming album, Djesse Vol. 3. Recorded in his famous London home studio, the groovy four-minute track is their second official collaboration following “RESTORE THE FEELING” from Caesar’s CASE STUDY 01 project.
While Collier preps for the release of Djesse Vol. 3 in Spring 2020, the English multi-instrumentalist is also in the running for two Grammy nominations: Best Arrangement (Instruments and Vocals) for “All Night Long” and Best Arrangement (Instrumental or A Cappella) for his rendition of “Moon River” — a track that took him literally over 5,000 vocal takes. These two mark Collier’s third and fourth Grammy nods after he won in the same two categories in 2017 for “Flintstones” and “You and I” respectively.
Collier will be hitting the road in Spring 2020 in support of Djesse Vol. 3 and is scheduled to appear in Europe, the U.K., Canada, and the U.S.
