The Game Exits With a Bang in Final Album 'Born 2 Rap'
Featuring the late Nipsey Hussle, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, and many more.
The Game‘s long-awaited project Born 2 Rap is finally here. Clocking in at a lengthy one hour and 30 minutes, the 25-track album features some of the industry’s biggest names including Ed Sheeran, Travis Barker, Trey Songz, Dom Kennedy, Bryson Tiller, 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Miguel, Masego, and the late Nipsey Hussle.
Billed as the followup to his 2016 album 1992, The Game has confirmed that Born 2 Rap will be his final studio album. Despite the LP’s initial introduction a year-and-a-half ago, the Compton-born rapper only released its lead single “West Side” in June 2019 and revealed the album art and tracklist in early November. “I’ve had a great run & surpassed my rap goals along time ago…. it’s by God’s grace that I’m able to still be here to deliver full projects at this caliber in an industry where I’ve seen artists come & go,” he wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post. “It will always be “QUALITY” over “QUANTITY” from where I stand. The REAL music will always prevail & this album will cap off an amazing run. I’m grateful for all the producers & artists who’ve helped this album become what it is & I am more excited for my fans than I am for myself.”
The Game will be on the road starting 2020 in support of the album. He recently announced 11 tour dates in Ireland and the U.K. and is set to perform at the O2 Institute Birmingham, the Albert Hall in Manchester the O2 Forum and the O2 Academy in Glasgow.
