Chrome Hearts Preps Art Basel-Exclusive Capsule Collection
Loaded with leather accents and all-over branding.
Art Basel Miami 2019 has delivered a deluge of exclusives from a wide array of creatives that includes Tom Sachs and Bodega. The special releases aren’t slowing any time soon, however, as Chrome Hearts delivers a set of items exclusive to its Miami outpost, just in time for the festivities.
Encompassing a brief array of warm weather essentials, the capsule encompasses a short-sleeved shirt, a zippered shirt dress, trousers, shorts, and a gathered skirt. Each item is emblazoned with a bevy of layered Chrome Hearts crosses and lettering, the latter entirely executed in the brand’s signature Olde English font. A dark navy base contrasts against the white images, with luxurious hardware and accents lending a premium touch to the goods. Metal-tipped drawstrings, shiny silver buttons and leather patches in the shape of mouths appear on each piece, while the skirt sports a leather-trimmed silver rivet for easy pull-through styling.
