DaBaby Presents a "Hip-Hop Musical" for New "BOP on Broadway" Visual
“Much love to Paramount for letting us run wild on their studio lot.”
Earlier this week, DaBaby linked up with Trippie Redd for a tripped-out visual in support of their new collaborative single “Death.” Now, the Charlotte star is revisiting his chart-dominating Kirk project for his latest music video, delivering a “hip hop musical” — directed by his go-to visual collaborators Reel Goats — for one of the LP’s opening salvos, the Jetsonmade-produced “BOP.”
“Shoutout every single dancer that came out to be great.Shout Cherry and Danileigh for the Choreography,” DaBaby shared in a brief set of remarks on today’s release. “Much love to Paramount for letting us run wild on their studio lot. Kirk Album Out Now. The Kirk Tour starts this weekend if you ain’t got your tickets, go get them you bitch ass n***as.”
“With the diaper shit, I knew exactly what I was doing, and people still talking about that three years later,” DaBaby recently explained to Billboard, opening up about his unique approach to marketing and promoting himself and his music. “They have a whole different level of understanding on it now when they see the creativity that I put in videos and how outgoing I am. They see how comfortable I am in my skin. It just makes sense. I’ve had myself figured out for the longest [time] — it was getting y’all to figure me out, that was the task.”
