Though Jordan Brand already delivered a bespoke Air Jordan 4 to cater to Michael Jordan’s love of motorsports, the sneaker brand has prepared another track-ready take on its classic basketball sneakers. TheAir Jordan 1 Retro High Moto is a strapped-up take on the iconic high-top shoe, with forefoot- and ankle-tightening details for maximum grip on the footrests. The toe of the right shoe sports an extra panel of suede for reinforcement, while the laces on both sneakers have been removed entirely. Oversized “23” accents on the tongue and rear call back to the iconic number that Jordan wore on the court and motorcycle track.

Keep an eye on Nike’s site for the eventual drop — stay tuned for more news. Below, check out Jordan taking a Ducati 999 for a test run.

Elsewhere, a factory error Air Jordan 1 was recently valued at approximately $147,000 USD.
