Instagram Testing Hidden Hashtag Feature
Clean up those captions.
Along with a new shopping app and verification applications, Instagram may have another new feature up its sleeve. The app is currently testing a hidden hashtag feature, where users would be able to opt to remove the hastags from the post caption. According to tech leaker Jane Manchun Wong, the result is cleaner captions, with hashtags relegated to a small nook next to the location tag.
No word on whether or not Instagram will officially roll out the functionality, but stay tuned for updates.
Recently, Burberry debuted its B Series collection exclusively via Instagram.
