This week’s drops roundup feature sees a Poggy-lead Levi’s Made & Crafted collection, Bait’s vintage Marvel comics capsule, and Advisory Board Crystals’ “Eternal Youth” collection for Slam Jam Milano. Summer appropriate releases include a newly introduced sunglasses collaboration from PLEASURES x Akila Eyewear, Stüssy’s “Beach Gear” collection, and sports-themed offerings from Warren Lotas.

Key standout pieces from this week’s selection include the Junya Watanabe x The North Face jacket with a built-in backpack, the custom Warren Lotas JUUL, and a Hong Kong exclusive UNDEFEATED x BAPE skate deck.

Poggy x Levi’s FW18 Collection

Looking towards the upcoming Fall/Winter season, Levi’s Made & Crafted tapped Japanese creative Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi for a rework of vintage looks. Along with drawing from the United Arrows & Sons creative director’s inspirations from fusing streetwear staples with American workwear, James Dean’s timeless style serves as a main point of exploration. Sifting through Levi’s archives, Poggy picked an array of WWII-era clothing to fuel the heritage collaboration. Notable pieces in the capsule include a modern take on the “Steve McQueen” denim pant, revamped with a tapered fit and bowtie detail on the pockets. Updated button-ups, fitted overalls, a yellow sack coat, and caps complete with Poggy and Levi’s branding on a leather tag round out the special collection.

BAIT Marvel Vintage Comics Capsule Collection

With the annual San Diego Comic-Con just around the corner, BAIT and legendary comic book publisher Marvel partner on a vintage comic capsule collection. Comprised of streetwear essentials like T-shirts and hoodies, the collab shows off artwork from comic icons, including Stan Lee and artists like the late Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. Choice panels from important issues highlight characters like Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Loki, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Thanos, and Thor.

Continuing to expand its offerings PLEASURES teamed up with Los Angeles-based Akila on a limited eye capsule inspired by retro styling. The nine-piece collection features two retro styles — the angular, cat-eye Nemesis frame and the versatile Hi-Fi — in a variety of color and lens options. Constructed of premium acetate, the eyewear options are handmade and feature 100% UVA/UVB protection scratch-resistant nylon lenses and durable barrel hinges with stainless steel cores.

Building on his abrupt releases, Warren Lotas recently returned to drop a new range of graphic-focused offerings. The sportswear-referencing lineup of tie-dye shorts feature graphic side stripes and a Swoosh-inspired skull insignia, with the macabre Nike logo rework carried over to the set of trucker hats. The limited-to-100-pieces WL Custom LOVE YOURSELF JUUL adorned with engraved graphics rounds up the latest release from Warren Lotas.
