Junya Watanabe Debuts The North Face FW18 Backpack Jacket Collab
The Karrimor iterations also dropped.
Following the recent Spring/Summer 2018 collaboration, Junya Watanabe‘s Fall/Winter 2018 The North Face & Karrimor drops have arrived. Reiterating the hybrid concept introduced in the first release, each of the three new jackets sports a built-in backpack on its rear, straps and all. Internal and external fasteners only bolster the already-elevated level of functionality, with each piece of outerwear offering many hidden pockets, fit-adjusting pull tabs and zippered closure. Further distinguishing the drop, signature Watanabe design elements appear on the Karrimor goods, like plaid lining and corduroy accents.
The Junya Watanabe x The North Face Trail Pack Jacket is now at Japanese stockists and on ZOZOTOWN’s site for ¥205,200 JPY (about $1830 USD), with the Karrimor counterparts available for ¥248,400 JPY (about $2215 USD). Look for them to arrive at Western stockists soon.
