JW Anderson & Converse Return for Glossy Chuck 70 "Toy" Collection
Coming in four gradient colorways.
Following on from last year’s collaboration, heritage brand Converse and designer JW Anderson will continue their partnership with a new art-inspired capsule. The capsule sees two different Chuck Taylor All Star 70 silhouettes, with both high- and low-top versions of the shoe. The standout features of the collection are the textures used, including glossy patent leather and oversized fuzzy laces designed to mimic the stucco of San Francisco.
Each silhouette comes in two gradient colorways: the high-top is available in “Kumquat/Cherry Red/Red Blue Radiance” or “Mountain View/Jolly/Heron,” while the low comes in “Heron/Coral Pink/Blazing Yellow” or “Pink Mist/Barley Volt/Antiqua Sand.”
The JW Anderson x Converse Chuck 70 “Toy” collection is set to launch with a four-day pop-up in London, running from July 19 until July 22. The high-tops will retail for $150 USD and the low-tops for $140 USD. Release is set for July 19 at 10 a.m. local time.
In other Converse news, there could be a new Off-White™ collaboration on the way.
