The Big Bubble Roster Grows With the Nike Air Max 1 '86 "Dark Team Red"
Joining three other upcoming throwback colorways.
Last but not least, Nike’s latest wave of Big Bubble looks is closed out by an autumnal “Dark Team Red” presentation. Named the Air Max 1 ‘86, the retro look has been expanded upon since its Air Max Day debut in its OG “Sport Red” with a total of four colorways. These include a “Light Silver,” “Metallic Gold Grain,” “Light Armory Blue” and this “Dark Team Red” pair.
Matching its partners, the colorway’s base appears with a white mesh finish. From there, “Smokey Mauve” suede overlays arrive at the midfoot and heel in a dark brown while a bordeaux-flavored “Dark Team Red” joins in at the Swooshes and mudguard. Pivoting to the sole unit, a cream and pink blend coats the midsole with its enlarged Air unit as a “Dark Team Red”-colored outsole completes the look.
At the time of writing, we’ve yet to receive any release information regarding the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Dark Team Red.” Stay tuned for an official launch date as we expect this pair to land on shelves in the coming months at a price of $150 USD via Nike and select retailers.
